I'm Kle Peixoto, the proud co-owner of Mama Doula Canada.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
I started working as a doula in 2016 and enjoyed contributing positively to my community. Three years later, I became an Obstetric Nurse and began to work for a public hospital in my home country, Brazil. After that, in 2019 I choose to add some knowledge about Hypnobirthing Techniques to my practice and then I became GentleBirth Instructor.
A Chance Meeting
I met Claudia Pereira in February 2020 during an international program coordinated by her. We started to talk about how Canadian doulas work and how she was inspired to expand her business across Canada. My desire to be part of her project grew from there.
In August 2021, I got a golden opportunity to move to Toronto and officially become a business partner. From day one, I was motivated to put all my effort into making Mama Doula Canada a grand success.
Over the past year, we've grown steadily and built a formidable team. We work seamlessly to constantly improve our services and strive to provide the most knowledgeable, warm, and integrative care possible.
Compassion and Guidance
As a doula, I work with empathy and always stay close to my client's side, offering physical and emotional support. I also advocate for their choices while providing reliable information and honest feedback.
Nurturing healthy babies and facilitating the bond they build with their mothers gives me a reason to wake up grateful each day. It's truly a pleasure to empower foreign families during one of the most memorable events in their life.
When I'm not assisting families, I love to travel and appreciate nature. I'm also fond of eating delicious food and dancing.
I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
