Leticia's journey into the realm of mother and baby care began with a background in nursing, specializing in Labor & Delivery back in Brazil. Her experience as an Obstetric Nurse, graduating in 2018, led her to assist pregnant individuals through prenatal and postpartum stages for over five years. This hands-on engagement ignited a deep calling within her to embrace the role of a doula, even before her move to Canada.
Empowerment forms the cornerstone of Leticia's doula approach. She's dedicated to building trust and rapport during the prenatal phases, ensuring pregnant individuals feel confident and in control of their birthing journey. Her foundational principle centers on honoring each person's unique experience, fostering trust, understanding, and teamwork in all her client interactions.
Leticia's goal is to empower families by nurturing their confidence and strength throughout the transformative journey of childbirth. Her advocacy for open and genuine communication underscores the significance of feeling heard and valued. This practice strengthens the bonds she creates with the families she supports.

We're also thrilled to share that Leticia is currently in the process of transitioning to become one of our senior doulas. This ongoing process signifies our commitment to ensuring all our doulas adhere to our best practices and model of care. This consistency guarantees that every family we serve receives the same care, regardless of the doula they partner with.
